I have a little problem connecting via VNC from a WinXP to a Debian Linux where 'x11vnc' is installed and running.
I use x11vnc because I need display 0 to be controlled remotelly. The problem is as follows:
I install tightVNC on my WindowsXP. I put the IP correctly and the connection to Linux desktop runs well. I work for a while without problems remotely. But after some time (15 mins or so) I receive this message: "Error while waiting for server message". The connection is closed and tightVNC closes as well.
Then I try to reconnect. Admin password is asked by tightVNC (so is 'connecting') but when I put the correct password on the textbox, a "Connection closed" dialog appears and I can not do anything more; tightVNC closes. Every time I try to reconnect, this message appears and nothing can be done.
I will be grateful if someone can help me on this issue. Thanks a lot in advance!
