Timeout in Mandrake server

Hi everybody.
I have a Mandrake server, with tomcat and a web application running on it, but I have a problem.
I should restart the router because every few minutes the app beholds up and then it dies.
I have to do a ping or any kind of network activity to "wake up" the server.
I dont know if Mandrake has any type of time out or some parameter with the operation time.

I would be thankful for your help.
C ya
