so... let me make sure i get this....

while utilizing konquerer, you try to go to an ftp site that has a mozilla download. but you can't download it because konqueror keeps timing out?

why not just use YaST2 to download a mozilla package from SuSE ?

i don't have the retail version of the software, but i'm pretty sure yast2 is offered with any recent version. the easiest way to access it (without knowing what window manager you use), is:

log into whatever window manager you typically use *as root*
then open up a terminal and type 'yast2'
look for one of the menu's has an option for package selection
there should be another window that opens up
then seach for for suse's mozilla package. i think it's version 1.4 (newest is 1.5 but i doubt you'll have trouble with 1.4).

edited for clairity...
