Squid,Tor,Privoxy

I'm using succesfully firefox with FoxyProxy extension to surf the web with tor and privoxy.I advice everybody to use this extension.
Now i have added squid-cache to speed things up and i'm getting this in squid logs
Code:
Jul 22 03:27:33 mail squid[19159]: Detected DEAD Parent: localhost/8118/7

Jul 22 03:42:06 mail squid[20573]: always_direct = 0
Jul 22 03:42:06 mail squid[20573]: never_direct = 1
Jul 22 03:42:06 mail squid[20573]: temporary disabling (Service Unavailable) digest from localhost
Jul 22 03:42:06 mail squid[20573]: timedout = 0
Jul 22 03:52:07 mail squid[20573]: temporary disabling (Service Unavailable) digest from localhost
Jul 22 03:56:24 mail squid[20573]: always_direct = 0
Jul 22 03:56:24 mail squid[20573]: never_direct = 1
Jul 22 03:56:24 mail squid[20573]: timedout = 0
I'm not using squid as accellerator , it's working for header cleaning and pages caching./var/spool/squid is owned by squid owner.
I run a debian sarge 3.1 2.6 stable.

Greets. I will call your attention to this:
Quote:
Detected DEAD Parent: localhost/8118/7
As you know 8118 is the privoxy listening port. Then:
Quote:
never_direct = 1
Now, from the squid users guide:
Quote:
The acl-operators always_direct and never_direct determine whether to pass the connection to a parent or to proceed directly.
As far as I don't know your ip's I will use something like this as an example:
acl my-iplist-1 src 192.168.1.0/24 (acls for your network addresses, where privoxy is)
[...] then:
always_direct allow my-iplist-1 (for going always direct to local machines).
Quote:
to surf the web with tor and privoxy.I advice everybody to use this extension.
Many of us agree. Just allow me to say _sometimes_ I think it is too much anonymity, tho. Interesting for a discussion.
EDIT: I meant "too much paranoia". I'm changing my mind now, after this news I linked: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=471422
