Talking Sony VAIO PCWA-C150 and Redhat Linux

Just for anyone who is going through what i went through.
I have a PCG-GRX590 with Redhat 9.
I also have the PCWA-C150 Wireless NIC(Orinoco Intergrated). If you are having problems with getting this device working with your wireless router, this is my solution. First off, after a fresh install you might be getting error messages to the effect of PCMCIA has no known IRQ.
Well go into your /etc directory and take a look at a file called 'modules.conf'
you should see something in there about what IRQ it is using try changing that, 9 worked for me.
Then go into your network which i did through GNOME, and check to see if you see the device, should be 'Lucent Orinoco and Prism II based PCMCIA cards, if you dont have it there, or have someone else, this is the one that worked for me, so set it up like that. from there configure the wireless portion using your SSID and Key, depending on how you have you router set up, I wasnt sure what they meant by "use 0x" for Hex, so i just did it in ASCII.
after all that you should be set, make sure you have specified whether you are using DHCP or a static IP. You should be money now, if not, post in here, and ill try to help you through it, i just thought i should make a post for this topic, because i dont want anyone going through what i went through, i was this close to giving up. I'm a newbie to linux and maybe there is a much easier more effecient way to say what i just did, but I couldnt find it, so here it is!!!

Rock On,
