I am trying to get a Fedora Core 4 server to connect to a share on a workstation under Windows 2000 domain ADS. (Workstation share is temporary as it will be connecting to another server joined to the domain in the near future).
With smbmount, I get prompted for a password and I enter the password.
I type in my password for my username (domain account) and I get the following error message.
"2679: session setup failed: ERRDOS - ERRnoaccess (Access denied.)
SMB connection failed"
Mind you everyone has full access to this share.
By the way, the Linux server is not joined to the domain.
Now, if I create a local account on the workstation with the share and use that username and password it mounts.
So the problem is what options do I need to pass in order to use a domain account for authenticating?
