SAMBA 3 - XP Workstations Losing Mappings

My apologies if this has been asked before.

Running a Samba 3 server on SUSE 9.1 , workstations are all XP. Just moved the office over to the Samba server. Users have been getting lost drive mappings once in a while. Is there a Samba server setting that will keep them attached for longer periods of time ?

Thanks
