server runs redhat , workstations win 2k ,workstations cannot connect to internet

Hi all

I am a new linux user , i have got a LAN of 5 computers. 4 workstations running windows 98,2000 & XP. The server machine is running linux redhat and has an external us robotics modem connected to it . The other computers connect to the internet through the server. Workstations were meant to connect on demand. As of lately my workstations cannot connect to the internet. I am able to ping the server from workstations , but cannot ping an internet site. I am able to ping internet sites at my server ( during ping the modem dials and is ligths of modem show that it is connected ) still workstations cannot connect to the internet even if server is connected.

Thanks for your assistance . I have managed to solve the problem, the problem was that the squid directory was full so i deleted some files to give space and it worked .
