Question problem with sendmail after configuring network


hai
I am configuring a network of 8 systems.After entering the ip's & names of the hosts in the /etc/hosts file I rebooted the system.But after that when my system boots it takes a long time to start sendmail.I had not removed the loopback address.can anybody know why this happens?

Can you post a copy of your sendmail.mc file and hosts file.
