No mp3's via samba


Hey All,

Why cant I play mp3's directly from a samba share on my lan ? anyone !

What program are you using to play the mp3s? Do the mp3s play correctly from your hard drive? What error are you getting?

Please post some more details of the problem.

Most propably you have not mounted the share you are only browsing it ..........if you do that the file has to be copyed to a temprorary directory. but if you mount it you can play it directly
