Network printing
I have a two system home network, a WindowsXP and a Linux Mandrake 8.0 box. My printer in hooked to my WindowXP box. Is there a way to get my Linux box to print to my XP box? My printer is a HP Deskjet 722C.

printconf?
My Mandrake 8.0 box doesn't seems to have a command like
printconf at all.
Any other ways to configure Mandrake 8.0 with a network printer?

I just found the command should be printerdrake
in Mandrake 8.0 or 8.1.
Although it doesn't successfully set up my network printer for me.. :-)

netowrk printing is stupidly easy in mandrake, assuming you're using CUPS. just add this to your smb.conf:
[printer]
printing = cups
printable = true
that's it! assuming you printer is working locally of course...

This doesn't necessarily make the NETWORK PRINTER
work. Especially if your machine is a laptop and thus u have to enable DHCP and other stuff to be able to get to the NETWORK Printer in the LAN...
