I am running Windows Xp Pro, and had recently installed Vmware Workstation 4.5.2 -Build 8848. I also installed Linux Red Hat 9 as a guest OS on Vmware Workstation. Everything works great except for getting the Internet to work on it. I put the vmware setting as bridge for the Nic Card. Also I am currently using Broadband Cable internet, and have the modem plugged into hub, and two pcs as well plugged into. That way both of my pc's receive two individual ip's from my provider. But this pc with my Windows Xp Pro with running the guest os on vmware, I've tried to Bridge, use Nat and etc. It still fails. I would greatly appreciate any help.

I am having the same problem with Red Hat 9 using VMware (although I am trying to use NAT instead of bridged). I was able to install 7.3 without any problems.
