Name resolution on new RH9 install

Hi,

New RH9 install, dual boot RH9/WIN-XP.

Default workstation install.

Hardware:
P4 2.66 Ghz, 1.5Gig Dual DDR ram, 3 hard drives, 1 cd, USB support, Firewire.
Gigabyte 8SQ800 MB.

Install went just fine. Everything works except name resolution.

/etc/resolv.conf:
domain theune.us
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

nat'd internal network off a fixed ip routeable commercial adsl account. (tcp/ip)

No name resolution at all.

Quick followup...

I checked /etc/host.conf, and added the line 'multi on'

Still no name resolution.

BTW I can ping my name servers just fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

PeterT

Please clarify. Which are clients, which are servers?

Just wanted to post that I've corrected the problem....

I just did a reinstall using 'custom' rather than 'workstation'.

Everything works fine now.... go figure.
