join ubuntu in samba domain controller

hi,
I'm confused about how to configure a Linux client to join in samba domain as the primary domain controller.
I wish that clients can take advantage of user management and password for the samba server instead of having a user on the client and one server.

Currently the server is already configured and some windows client work regularly with Samba as a PDC ,I have to configure the linux client, but I do not know which way to go.

could someone advise me how to configure the linux client?

Samba combined with OpenLDAP can be used to allow PEAP and TTLS authentication with free tools. This provides an alternative to Microsoft's Active Directory for institutions wishing to support PEAP natively under Windows without the use of Secure-W2.

Before getting Started

There are several things to consider before implementing OpenLDAP as the Identity Provider (IdP) for eduroam-US at your institution.
