Ubuntu 8.04LTS + Samba (how to join active domain in Windows Server 2008)

Im having troubles connecting an ubuntu 8.04LTS server system to a Windows 2008 server domain by using samba. Does ne 1 have a real detailed guide to getting everything to work properly?
