IpTraf Problem

i m using a router with linux 9.0 and i use IpTraf.8 which comes as defautl with linux 9.0 for monitoring bandwidth consumtion of my clients' machines.

there is a strong feature in IpTraf to describe Ethernet Host (Mac Addresses) with a meaningful name. configure ----> Ethernet/PLIP host descriptions ---> Add description.

the problem is ........... when i reboot my router ...... all description that i previously added removed .

i used linux 7.2 and 8.0 before. but this problem was not there.

thanking u
