iptraf problem

i have slack 9.1 on my home-lan router and i use windows at home computers. probably (im not shure about that), i have been running putty with iptraf (lan station monitor on all interfaces) when my windows stopped responding. as a result i have such problem: when i go: iptraf>lan station monitor>all interfaces, it says:
"Lan station monitor already running on all interfaces
Press any key to continue"
No other server user is running iptraf,
ps -aux | grep iptraf gives:
root 3334 0.0 0.7 1484 460 pts/2 S 20:45 0:00 grep iptraf
I have tried to reboot my server - didn't help.
I will repeat that i am not 100% shure if this is result of my computer stopping responding running iptraf via putty.

How could i get my iptraf workind again ?

Thank you

What error you see in log file? i.e. in /var/log/iptraf/*.log files?

kill iptraf process if there is one, then remove files in /var/run/iptraf

you should be able to use iptraf
