Question any improved version of iptraf or any other utility like iptraf..?

hi....boys....i need some improved version of iptraf or any other utility like iptraf....any body can help me in this..........becouse i have seen some time when my dsl line is not connected with the internet but iptraf show me the activities on my external lan card (i have 2 lan card, one 4 my local lan and 2nd 4 the dsl line)

I think what you're after is a packet sniffer maybe?
