i want to setup basic mail server ?
hello guys,
i am new to networking, i have done basic setup of apache and primary dns in my network. i would like to setup a mail server now. but i know very little about mail servers.
i am thinkin of going for postfix mail server.
i have redhat 9 linux

hello,
i have installed postfix configured it as well, i have imap runing on my sytem now. how can i check working do i need any software for it.
i want to check if my machine is able to send mail to other machines in local lan. do i need to install any software.

hi there,
check out www.postfix.org it explains in detail about postfix installations. installing postfix is easy. hard part comes when u have got to make it work with mysql, webmail etc
