Lightbulb I want to customize my mail server

I found on internet some elements to do this.
Postfix, dbmail and mysql.

1)Is it a good combinaison ?
2)Is dbmail a good choice ?
3)Is something missing ?

Moreover, I wanted to have my mails crypted and I thought of using mysql's triggers to do that. Anyone has a better solution ?

If you want your emails encrypted you don't ask your mailserver to do it. I'm not sure how else ot answer your question, your either asking for alot more than email encryption or your just flat out lost, cuz I'm not seeing how mysql is getting into this

At any rate if email encryption is all your striving for, your email program should be the one doing it. Or a third party program, most definately not your mailserver.

Ok, i just want my email crypted just before ending into the database.
And I want to be able to crypt with a self-made program.
That's why i evocated the trigger solution.

Does it seem possible to do ? Have you any better proposition ?
I am definitly not an expert but I really need help for this work.
