How can i show network configuration in text mode


i have to display a network configuration from remote server, and i try with redhat-config-network, but doesn't work...
i need the IP address and DNS...

try ifconfig as root

ifconfig not show DNS...
in suse i use yast and navigate into text menues and options... have you an idea of some similar package in redhat AS 2.1?

Ahh try system-config-network, or redhat-config-network, I am not sure what version thay changed it in, should give you a text version if you are on a ssh terminal, or a GUI if you are local and in X..

i'm in SSH session, with redhat-config-network i receive the following message:

Copying ifcfg-eth0 to devices and putting it into the default profile.
Copying /etc/hosts to default profile.
Copying /etc/resolv.conf to default profile.
No display information -- gtk_init not called

the option system-config-network not exist
