file copy issue

I am currently now using telnet to a HP-UX machine from RedHat Linux.
How can I copy a file in HP-UX to the local RH one?

Thank you.

both the boxes should fhave the ftp client but may not be running the ftp server. You need to start the ftp daemon on both and do an ftp.

Since ftp is insecure you should consider using ssh scp and sftp.
