DNS problem

I disconnected my linuxbox because of thunders (shutted down only adsl-box, not linuxbox). After the storm, I connected it again, and now Irssi (irc-client) says "Temporary failure in name resolution".
So, it only has problems to look up dns adresses. (I can connect to it using it's ip address, so ip-adresses works?)
Ifconfig looked fine when I checked them, and /etc/resolv.conf looked to be fine also. (Search, and couple ips.)
What should I try?

To check whether dhcpd is running do
ps -de | grep dh
if it shows, its running and to restart do
service dhcpd restart

Mmm... That didn't work. It didn't show up, but there also weren't such command as "service dhcpd restart".
