hi!

i installed mandrake 8.2 dl-edition and now i want to connect to internet with the shortcut on my kde-desktop like i did under mandrake 8.1. but it says connection failed. but i can surf! so i am connected, but it's not displayed correctly.

how do i solve this problem? it is really frightening me, because i'm never really sure if i'm connected or not. i always start th controlcenter to check.

pps: i searched the forum, but didn't finde a suitable thread. and since internet is quite expensive for me i just postet...

ppps: i also have a network card plugged in, wich is noch used at the moment...

really nobody with any idea how to fix this problem?
