Configure default gateway at bootup

I just upgraded from fc5 to fc6 and somehow lost my default gateway setting to my router.

I can route add to get the router ip set up but it doesn't keep through bootup.

Where do I set up the permanent configuration of the default gateway. I have a gateway address set up in ifcfg-eth0 but that doesn't seem sufficient.

TIA

I'm not too familiar with Fedora Core, but with Ubuntu, all the network configuration is done in /etc/network/interfaces. Somehow I doubt this is the same in RedHat machines ...
