Unhappy Can't detect wifi routers..

So I have a macbook pro MD101. I have installed fedora 28 on dual boot along with mac OSx. But linux is not able to detect any wifi adapters due to which I am not able to connect to wifi. The wifi is working on mac os, but isn't detecting on Fedora. I am new to linux. Its very difficult to connect through ethernet or through usb tethering on my phone.

Hi & Welcome to LQ.

I'm not that good with the wifi stuff however.........
There are a few things we will need to know in order to help you.

What wifi card does your Macbook have?

To find that out while booted into Fedora you can run:
Code:
lspci | grep -i network
Is Network Manager installed?

What DE are you using? KDE or Gnome?

This Networking wiki is a place to start.

AFAIK yum isn't used anymore. You would use dnf.

Suspect you have a broadcom so you'd need to add in driver assuming you do have broadcom.

Although this is for debian it also tends to apply for fedora. But as above you have to ID the device.
