can't access windows shares

I just did a new Redhat 7.2 setup and when I try to access windows shares on my windows 2000 computers I receive a message that "access is denied."

The drives on the windows machines are shared and I have added the linux user and password to the windows machines. I have smbpasswds set up on the linux box for all the users.

The windows machines can access the linux box with no problems and the windows machines can access each other.

It is just that I cannot access or even see the windows shares from linux.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
