Can't access samba shares from windows

I have set up samba on my linux box and have created users with "smbpasswd -a user". I can see the linux box in windows, but when I click on a share, it prompts me for a username and pass. I put in the one I assigned, but the window pops up again, indicating that it wasn't the correct info. any ideas?

Search Google for setting up "Client for Microsoft Networking" and use the Samba username and password.
