Bind stopped working?

I've been using bind as a simple caching nameserver with the default config in Debian Squeeze. Last night we had a power outage, and now for some strange reason the bind doesn't work anymore. It starts up ok with no errors, but it doesn't seem to resolve ip-addresses. I tried logging on to the server and accessing some sites with w3m on it, and all it says is "opening socket". What went wrong here?

Other than that the machine that runs bind seems to be working perfectly.

-- Edit --

Nothing was wrong. I found out that syslog was full of "network unreachable" erros from bind (although, the network definitely was not unreachable ;P). I rebooted the machine and everything is fine now.

--Edit2 --

Except that it isn't exactly fine ;D But this probably a problem with the ISP.
