Howdy All
Can someone please help me with the basic setup so I can surf the net on a D-Link DWL-G520 and a D-Link DI-614+ Router…I have Suse Linux 9.0 and I am a First Time Linux user… Linux looks like it installed the card but I don’t know how to set it so that the router is my access point…any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
umm i have this card and i used a driver called madwifi. but if was not nice to install.
I got the driver from http://sourceforge.net/projects/madwifi/ but i had to use cvs.
you will need to do some reading and spend some time doing it. but if u do not mind go for it, it does work so it is not a lost cause.
But i have not used suse, so it might have the driver installed, tell me what iwconfig reports, if it finds a device it will tell u all about it. if not it just says "no wireless extensions found"
