autostart rfbdrake


Hi all
how can I get rfbdrake to start on boot up, and also where do I save the password ?
Running mandrake 10.1

Here's what I did.

I used the menu link to setup the password (K menu->Internet->Remote Access->Virtual Network Connection). That info (password) is saved into your home directory as .x0rfbserver.

You can open that file just to check

I copied x0fbserver from /usr/bin to my home/.kde/autostart. So when KDE is started upon reboot the server is called and voila!

The downside of this is that you need to enable the auto logon for your account or else the server isn't called.

Excellent, and its simple enough for me
I was about to give up, but problem now solved.
