Autostart

Using Mandrake 9.2 I put some valid symbolic links in my Autostart ($HOME/.kde/Autostart) folder. So kde should run these links at startup, but it doesn't.. Anyone know why not?

Maybe you didn't link to the correct path or program. Show us the link, and maybe we can help you out.

ln -s /usr/local/bin/gdesklets ~/.kde/Autostart

When I run this link manually from commandline it works flawlessly. I'll try some other links to see if they work (though I wouldn't understand why).

I put "ln -s /home/pathfinder/Programs/thunderbird/thunderbird home/pathfinder/.kde/Autostart" in there, I tested the link (works fine) but doesn't start automaticly when I relogin (or reboot).
Perhaps there's is another way to have things start right after loading KDE?

Ok it works now. I made the links with KDE Create new-> Link to Application. Anyone know how to do the same with ln?
