automatic adding machines to domain in samba

I want to automatically add machines to my domain in samba, and I've added the following line im my smb.conf:

add user script = /usr/sbin/useradd -g machines -d /dev/null -c "machine account" -s /bin/false %m

i've tried with %m and %u , anyway, it didn't make this to work; in win2k, when trying to add a machine to the domain, this error show up:

The user name could not be found.

Any ideas?

I have changed from "add user script" to "add machine script". It now work, I can add the machines to domain, but when trying to log in, it says " domain is not available". this is weird stuff :|

now I really need help
