Adding RH9/Samba to NT domain

I've been having issues with trying to add my RH9 box to my companies existing NT domain... k first off I manually edited my smb.conf, then went in a static'd my nic's IP-mask-gate, but even though I can smb:/DOMAIN and be able to view all the trusted domains within my co. But if I attempt to access a network share of ANY kind I get prompted for user credentials, (which is good), but whatever ceds I enter doesnt work....I tried entering my network account creds (which have admin rights)...didnt work, I tried entering my Domain Admin dice, I tried entering my Samba creds...nothing. Im completely stumped! Any help would be appreciated.
