so how with windows os in browser of firefox withis video
tere is not lags me?
Because Adobe still updates flashplayer for windows and does not update flashplayer for Linux. That is the choice of Adobe so it would obviously work better on windows.

As I said in my last post, I had no problems with any lag watching the video in firefox on Linux. Do you have the most current version of firefox installed and did you update the flashlayer plugin? Yes, there is a difference between Debian and Ubuntu. Ubuntu is based on Debian but a lot of changes have been made.

Hi ramia...

What is your computer hardware specifically? What is your processor, memory and video card?

Also, providing us with the output of the following command would be helpful, too...

Code:
lspci -nnk
Regards...

is with lags
why?
I just watched some of this video in both Firefox and Google Chrome (using Lubuntu 11.04) just to see what my experience would be. The playback was nearly identical for both browsers, except in Firefox, there were a couple of very slight stutters. Otherwise, it played fine. Also, the "feel" of the page in Firefox seemed heavier but how Firefox scrolls the page may be a part of that. The system I used to test this is a Dell Inspiron 531S (AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2 GB's of memory, Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce graphics chip.)

Because Firefox is a "heavier" browser (in my experience,) there is much more of a connection between the age of the hardware and quality of playback. I've seen it more than once. This is my guess as to the nature of your issue, although it could be something else. Having a look at the specs I've requested in my previous post might help with this assessment.

Regards...

Hi ramia...

Thank you for posting this information. Yeah, it's kind of what I suspected. You're using older hardware with a low level of memory. I forgot to ask: What version of Firefox are you using?

Regards...

Hence my comment in a previous post: "This is my guess as to the nature of your issue, although it could be something else."

I didn't know you were also running Windows and had no problems running the video using it. The only thing I know to suggest at this point is to try using an older version of Firefox, if you want continue using this particular browser and see if that helps. In my test, I believe I was using either version 31 or 33, I can't remember which.

Regards...

Hi...

You should be able to do this by uninstalling Firefox 42 in your package manager and then download and install Firefox 31 from here. Make sure to choose the appropriate architecture for your system, either 32 bit (i386) or 64 bit (AMD64.) Once the package finishes downloading, just double click to install it. Please report back if you get any error messages.

However, one important point: When you bring up version 31 for the first time, you have to immediately go to into preferences and uncheck the "automatically download newest version" box. Otherwise, you might have version 42 again before you know it. Please see the instructions (by "user301922") in detail here.

I checked the Firefox version I was using on yesterday's test and it was actually version 38, however, you're welcome to try any version that you like.

As another idea, you might also be able to correct this problem by going to a more lightweight distribution of Linux such as Lubuntu, Zorin OS 9 Lite or AntiX.

Regards...

Hi...

Here some information about how to access and use the Synaptic Package Manager...

I'm not sure. If you uninstall version 42 but leave the personal settings and other information intact (by not doing a "Complete Removal" but just a "Removal" in Synaptic,) I'm guessing that your data will remain in place. However, as I said, that's a guess on my part, you would need to research this to make sure.

I have no idea what architecture your system and/or copy of Linux is using. You can try running this command to find out....

Code:
uname -a
