Touchpad Netbook Belinea xs10

Hello,

on my netbook the touchpad is not really working. It is not possible to scroll horizontal and vertical.

Maybe this output will help?
Code:
winnetou@tippi:~$ grep -B 5 mouse /proc/bus/input/devicesI: Bus=0011 Vendor=0002 Product=0001 Version=0000
N: Name="PS/2 Generic Mouse"
P: Phys=isa0060/serio2/input0
S: Sysfs=/devices/platform/i8042/serio2/input/input8
U: Uniq=
H: Handlers=mouse0 event8
winnetou@tippi:~$ lsmod | grep psmouse
psmouse
I use Lubuntu 13.10.

Thanks
Alex

Type without quotes
"synclient -l|grep VertEdgeScroll && synclient -l|grep HorizEdgeScroll"
See the results.
if
VertEdgeScroll = 0 or HorizEdgeScroll = 0 or both

"synclient VertEdgeScroll=1"
"synclient HorizEdgeScroll=1"

again without quotes.
It will do the work.
Also, to make it permanent you can
1) make script containing above two commands, run it at startup.
Or 2) write them to /etc/X11/xorg.conf file
(Caution:Please check about xorg.conf file on google before doing 2)).

If I type
Code:
synclient -l|grep VertEdgeScroll && synclient -l|grep HorizEdgeScroll
I get
Code:
Couldn't find synaptics properties. No synaptics driver loaded?
How can I install or activate the synaptics driver?

Thanks
Alex

Can you post output of
dpkg -l|grep synaptics

Also see in this output whether you have something like
xserver-xorg-input-synaptics //or jumble of these words.

Type
gsynaptics
on command line.
(Better before see 'man gsynaptics' for the options)

and see what pops up and try to use that.

Further if doesn't resolve the problem, then try to look at
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Touchpad_Synaptics
https://wiki.debian.org/SynapticsTouchpad
