Hello folks,

I have a RedHat9 installed on a new Acer Aspire 1603ELC. The graphic card is ATI Radeom 9000, a common 15' TFT display. But the installation program of RH9 cannot recognize my display, the info it throws to me is that "monitor unprobed". I can only use a max. solution of 800*600. I am a newbie to linux, could anyone kindly tell me how to solve this little problem? I installed both KDE and GNOME, KDE is my prefered. Is there any configuration tool under KDE can work out?

Another problem is the power management. The RH9 always reports power management not found, and it cannot shut down itself, I have to press the power button. How to fix it?

Once I had a SuSE 7.3 professional run on my intel PIII desktop, it worked perfectly well, I never met any hardware problem.

And, I don't know how to make my PC Card ( NetGear WG511, 802.11g) work with the HR9, when I need Internet access, I have to adjust to WinXP.

I've tried very hard to solve the problem by myself, but got really tired after reading tons of documents scattered on the 'net. Could anyone please offer some sharp/snap help, thank you very much in advance!
