Mic loud during boot, creates static
Hi
I have this NEC Ultralite really nice and small laptop with the Transmeta Crusoe technology. Everything works great, even the sound, just during boot, when the esssolo1 module is loaded, the mic is extremely loud and picks up noise from the speaker, and ends up in a screaming loop.
Once KDE starts, I can mute the MIC, and everything is fine. Now, KDE remembers my profile, so every time I load KDE, the problem goes away. From then on, if I log off of KDE, everything remains fine. Once I reboot, and the esssolo1 module gets loaded again, the screaming sounds comes alive.
Anybody had the same issue? Google took me to various places, but none of which had a solution for this problem.
Thanks
Bence
