Linux on a Compaq Presario 1503AP

Could the RH Linux 7.2 accomodate the Compaq Presario 1500 series? I currently have the Presario 1503AP and im just wondering if it could probably support all its hardware devices.
Im welcome for any suggestions....

http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/compaq.html - says that someone has Debian working on a 1503AP and RH8 on a 1508. Since 7.2 is a fairly old version, you may want to check the system requirements for a more up to date distro.

[Edit] In fact, after viewing the specs of your laptop, I would definitely suggest going for an up to date distro - your machine should happily accomodate Fedora Core 2 (if you really want Red Hat) or Mandrake, Slackware, or any other. [/Edit]

i have a Presario 2500 and i want to install a nix on it. i need instructions on how to do that. plus which distro will be best?

I'm using slack 9 on a 2100, everything works.
