Kernel 2.6.0 and compaq presario 2100z (amd proc)


i'm trying to get the new 2.6.0 kernel installed using both slackware 9.1 and suse 9

on both distro's when it boots up i get this error message:
spurious 8259 interrupt: irq7


any help would be greatly appricated
