gui not working suSe 9 on 15,4 Toshiba


I am an amateur in Linux. I had a problem in viewing 1024*780 display and i did some changes. Then on, my GUI is gone. I had 2 just type. I tried to rapair by reinstalling, but didnt work. I have Linux SuSe 9 version. Can anybody help me.
