Hello ,
I am new to linux and I was trying to install fedora on my system but unfortunately I had the following problems:
when I just start installing I couldn't use the graphical mode because it can't even start the process(nothing readable and I got squares and flashy green color on the screen) so I choose the text mode, install done perfectly, but when it comes to the startup , I got a red screen or sometimes after the red screen I got some messages at the end that say "....sound failed" and at finally this message: "Socket Status : 30000006".
I spend more than 2 days trying to find a way to solve this problem , so please help me , I really need your help badly.

Some info abt my system:

Pentium VI 2.4 GHZ
Graphic card: nvidia Geforce 4 420 GO
Sound Card: Sigma Tel Audio

I fixed the problem by updating my video card , (a long process) but now I am trying to fix the sound .
