Fedora c4 install problems

When trying to install fedora c4 on my Aspire 1300 laptop i get past the testing cd media screen and onto the "Welcome to Fedora" screen but the graphics are all wrong,lines run through the screen and the and it is as if there is 2 pages on one screen,I am unable to continue any further because i can1t see the "Release button" "next key" or anything.This is the first time i have tried to install linux.
Has anyone had this trouble before or know how to resolve it.

Have you tried skipping the CD test? I just installed FC4 as my first linux install and didnt bother with it, I dont know if that would make any difference, however Im also having the same problem with the screen being messed up. What resolution does it appear to be at? I cant get mine above 800x600 without that problem.

installed everthing ok but still have 2 screens overlapping each other,also couldnt install disk 3 or 4
