Error after installing linux

Don't know if this is the correct forum as it involves an android netbook.

I am trying to install Linux on my Asus eee netbook transformer TF101. One linux image installed okay but was not stable enough for my needs, this was installed using the rootbind method. When booting I get

E:error not a directory
E:error opening '/data/ubuntu/dev/ram5'
E:error not a directory
E:error opening '/data/ubuntu/dev/ram7'
E:error not a directory
E:error opening '/data/ubuntu/dev/ram10'

E:error not a directory
E:error opening '/data/ubuntu/dev/ram7'

This does not seem to be preventing me booting android but I would like to get rid of it if possible.
thanks in advance - Jim

Thanks for replying Pan64, I installed a lubuntu image. This wa installed by the rootbind method that should install it alongside Android. You can then boot either operating system by flashing the appropriate kernel from recovery.
Thanks - Jim.
