I recently today moved my laptop from win xp pro to Mandrake 9.2. the Problem i ma having is with a modem windows called a Conexant modem now linux calls it a AC-link modem im not shure with one it is. i tryed the Linuxant drivers but i have no clue how to set up a dile up internet connection so im not shure the drivers worked. I have KDE and Gnome installed and scence i am on dile up i only got disks one and two so i might be missing somethings. please tell me what i need to get this all running and i will be gratefull. sorry if this has already been asked. thanks guys i hope to have this set up soon


I also need some DVD software i tryed xine but that the tar files where rejected. is there any other i could try?

well i got the dvd player and i got my modem working but none of the programs use the connection please help me out. or i might just have the wrong password. eather way i need the thing to tell me the batery level. This fourm rox!
