How to update FUSE in kernel

I just took the VANILLA KERNEL 2.6.19.2 and applied latest REISER4 patch to it.
But now I would also like to patch the kernel with the latest FUSE patch. So the latest version of NTFS-3G will work, since it requires latest version of FUSE.
But how do I do that?

ps. Something like this the BEYOND patchset has done already:

The FUSE code is already part of the Kernel code, so you don't have to patch it.

See http://linuxhelp.150m.com/installs/compile-kernel.htm
And http://linuxhelp.150m.com/installs/i...on-reiser4.htm

for how to get REISER4 into your kernel and running,...

Worked for me.

Yes but the version was off. It was only kernel 2.6.20 that supplied the correct FUSE version for NTFS3G to work reliably

Hi Ashrack,
You have total control of whether it is off or on,... by turning it off or on in the configuration file. If you need some help with building a kernel,...

See eg http://linuxhelp.150m.com/installs/compile-kernel.htm
