Wireless headset


Hello!
I have bought a new headset corsair v2100 and they are wireless and uses a dongle on the 2.4 Ghz. My questions is could i clone the mac add from the usb dongle to my laptop i have 2.4 and 5 Ghz network. So i know i can be done but i have never done it ill post a link to the corsair site

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.

I didn't find much technical information about the wireless but typically it just an analog RF signal that just happens to be on the 2.4GHz because it does not require a license. In this case wireless does not mean a wifi network so there isn't a mac or ip address etc.

Many wireless keyboards and mice also use RF wireless.

Hi! Thanx for fast response i get it now i though it was a wifi signal but would it be possible to that i want to clone that RF signal to my OS?
Could i be able to use it with out the dongle thats my question?

No. wifi network and the headset wireless signals are not compatible.

it seems to be a basic rf-transceiver.

i suspect the wifi radio circuitry to be full-duplex (or at least half-duplex) therefore it wont receive anything from the headfones. (although the headfones mite get some interference from whats being transmitted from the wifi router).
