Which wireless headset is good for my computer needs?
I have to purchase wireless headset for my computer needs like listening to audio, watching youtube videos, video calling (skype) etc. That should be compatible with my Asus Fonepad 7 tablet (android) & my Ubuntu laptop. (It will be added advantage if it's compatible with my LCD TV but it's not really essential at all.)
After searching in Internet for a few days & watching youtube videos, I found Logitech H800 wireless headset to be good. Many websites & in youtube, they reviewd this headset. I felt this headset was much reviewd giving high priority like in Google or youtube if I search for wireless headset Logitech H800 will come first. So, I was much inclined to buying this.
I called up customer care of Logitech & came to know that it works on android tablets. Also it will work on Windows laptop. But when I asked for Ubuntu or Linux, she told it isn't tested for that; so may or may not work on Linux.
Logitech H800 gets connected with tablets via bluetooth. For it to connect to laptop, bluetooth receiver (a tiny piece of hardware) is to be inserted in the usb port of the laptop.
Also the predecessor of Logitech H800, i.e. H600 is ruled out as it isn't compatible with tablets. Also she told no headset of Logitech is compatible with TV.
Please say which wireless headset (with microphone) should I go for that fulfills my need?

Michaelk, I'm pleased to read your post. Regarding the compatibility with Linux, I feel I'd read in a review (may be in amazon.in) where the reviewer told that he has used it in Ubuntu 12.04. But I don't know why Logitech customer care at 000-800-600-1133 was not sure regarding it's compatibility with Linux. Company should be more knowledgeable regarding the same!!
May I know if anywhere in Internet I can find out regarding its compatibility with Linux.

As you wrote appears, so may I have a link where I can confirm?
