I'm looking at a wireless headset as my disability prevents me from removing the headset myself. I't have to be on all the time too. Would bluetooth work? Anything else? I just need it for softphone [Gizmo project] stuff.

i don't see why not.. linux supports bluetooth from 2.4.. since it is seperate from the softphone (ie where talking sound card-- i asume?).. .then i don't see any (big) problems with setting this up to work.

of course if they are going to be on most of the time, i'd invest in a decent pair (ie one that will be extremely confortable and un-intrusive.)

however be advised that bluetooth has a reputation of being hacked..sooo unless this issue has been addressed (which i don't know)..then you might want to investigate your choice of wireless further if you require complete privacy.
