Question Which USB is getting reset?


Hi, in dmesg I have plenty of these :

I'd like to know which device it is that gets reset lsusb :

Hi serafean,

I'd bet my money that the problems you are having are caused by your wireless USB dongle (the Dlink DWL-122 rev. b1).
Since I have one as well, I've experienced the same problem when trying to use ndiswrapper with this dongle, which eventually makes my kernel crash.

Unfortunately I haven't found a way around it, and even the opensource drivers from serialmonkey no longer work correctly with the Dwl-122 rev.B1, as seen in this thread from the serialmonkey forum:

Hi, thaks for the info.

I kind of thought/dreaded this might be the case, and am quite impatient to see the rt2x00 driver ported into the kernel, as they are promising to do. Anyway, the system works relativeley well for the moment.
